Dry Kill Logic got lumped in with the “numetal” movement of the early ‘Oughts but their 2001 debut The Darker Side of Nonsense wields a brutal sonic bludgeon of singular power. In fact, even Roadrunner, a label not known for pandering to popular taste, asked the band for a more commercial sound on its projected followup, which led to Dry Kill Logic’s leaving for pastures less dedicated to green. Indeed, vocalist Cliff Rigano’s lyrics give no quarter: “What goes around comes around/Once lost now I am found/All of this hatred I focus on you.” On the 25th anniversary of its original release, we’ve remastered The Darker Side of Nonsense for its vinyl debut, and faithfully re-created the beautifully grotesque artwork with a jacket and color inner sleeve. Reissued with the full support of the band on milky clear vinyl!
